Day 1: Kampala/Entebbe - Murchison Falls National Park

After an early morning breakfast you will head north to Murchison Falls National Park traveling through the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where you will have the opportunity to trek for rhinos. The sanctuary houses Uganda's Rhino reintroduction project where there are 9 white rhinos and tracking is done on foot. You will drive to Masindi Town where you will have lunch and later drive to Murchison Falls National Park for dinner and your overnight stay at Fort Murchison Lodge.

Day 2: Game Drive, Boat Cruise and Top of the falls Hike

After an early breakfast your morning will take you on a game drive to the northern bank of the River Nile where your guide will help you spot elephant, lion, cape buffalo, giraffe, hartebeest, waterbuck, oribi, bushbuck, reed buck, hyena and if you are lucky, the leopard. After lunch you will go for a boat safari upstream the calm Victoria Nile to the base of the falls stopping just meters from the 'Devil's Cauldron where you will see the Nile River, said to be the 2nd longest river in the world, crush through a narrow gorge and forming the magnificent Murchison Falls. Marvel at the schools of hippo, crocodile and along the way you may see elephant, waterbuck and Ugandan kob. This is also the area where there are many birds, species like goliath heron, Egyptian goose, pelican bee-eater, kingfisher, hornbill, cormorant and the rare shoebill stork. After taking shorts of the photogenic Murchison Falls you will return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 3: Kibale Forest National Park

After an early breakfast you will drive west to Fort Portal through verdant countryside passing through traditional homesteads and farms. Fort Portal rests in the shadow of the fabled Mountains of the Moon. The drive takes you through Ever Gate Estate and much more. The drive takes approximately 7 hours. You will arrive at the lodge in time for a late lunch. Relax at the lodge or take an unguided walk around the lodge to enjoy the beauty of the area. Here you will enjoy dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi Swamp Walk

After breakfast you will visit Kibale Forest National Park where the greatest variety and highest concentration of primates in East Africa are found. The most famous of its 13 species is the chimpanzee known to be a delightful ape. It is also a home of species like the rare I'Hoest's monkey, the black and white Colobus, Blue monkey, Grey cheeked mangabey, Red tailed monkey, Olive baboon among others. The walk takes 2-3 hours. After lunch you will go on a Bigodi swamp walk where you may see a variety of bird species and other smaller mammals. Later in the evening you will settle in at the Crater Safari Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth and Boat Cruise

After breakfast you will travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park following the mystical Rwenzori Mountain Range. As you go through the park you will experience an exciting game drive to spot elephant, buffalo, bushbuck, kob, antelope, warthog, among others. In the afternoon you will enjoy a unique 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel that joins with Lake Edward and Lake George. This trip passes through possibly the highest concentration of hippo. The journey offers an excellent opportunity for photography, bird watching and game viewing. The prolific bird life is colorful and stupendous, with well over 550 resident species. Later in the evening you will settle in at the Bush Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 6: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Game Drive

After an early breakfast you will take off on a game drive to see lion, elephant, lion, kob, bird, warthog and much more. You will have one game drive in the morning and another in the afternoon. After lunch you will take off on another game drive; returning to the Bush Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 7: Transfer to Bwindi Impentrable National Park and Tree Climbing Trees

After your breakfast, pack-up your bags and take a morning game drive through the Ishasha plains for your final visit with the tree climbing lions and other wildlife before heading out of the Queen Elizabeth National Park and on to Bwindi. The drive takes you through the Switzerland of Africa area known as the Kigezi Highlands with its terraced hillside and winding roads to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, arriving in the evening. Check into the lodge for dinner and your.

Day 8: Gorilla Trekking

After an early breakfast depart to the starting point for briefing about your gorilla trekking adventure after which you will be led by experienced gorilla trackers on the slopes of the volcanoes. You will start from the site where the gorillas were encountered the day before and from here the gorilla tracking begins. Although the hike can be physically demanding, the anticipation of the exciting experience ahead is amazing, and the beauty of the gorilla forest and its inhabitants are fascinating. Day 9: Departure

After an early breakfast you will head to the Entebbe International Airport, with a lunch stop along the way. Upon arrival at the airport you will check in time for your homebound flight or be dropped-off in a Kampala hotel or home. This is where your safari will end.
