Day 1Arrival to Kigali and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable forest National park

This day starts with your driver guide picking you up from Kigali International airport and embarking on an exciting road drive to the extreme south western Uganda. A stopover for lunch will be made en route. The dense rain forest of Bwindi, famous for its gorilla population, is one of the most fertile and rich in the world, being home to a variety of primates, animals, insects and exotic birds. On arrival, check in at the lodge for relaxation, Dinner and overnight stay at Gorilla Mist camp amidst the forests and verdant hills of Bwindi.

Main Destination: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (Uganda)

Day 2: Gorilla tracking and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

After breakfast, depart for the gorilla trekking briefing point. This gorilla walk can take up to six hours, so a reasonable degree of fitness and a strong pair of walking shoes are required. The location of the Gorillas is unpredictable thus packed lunch is recommended for this adventure. After tracking, you will transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for a relaxed evening. You can have an optional canoe ride or swimming in the Bihazia free lake. Dinner and overnight at Bunyonyi Gorilla View Parkers.

Day 3: Transfer from Bunyonyi to Kigali

On this day, you will check out of the resort and embark on a border crossing journey from Western Uganda to Kigali city. Depending on your scheduled flight time, you may have lunch with us (There is also a possibility of an optional Kigali city tour to the Genocide museum) and later transfer to Kigali international airport, to readily catch your flight back home.
