9 Days - Masai Mara Safari Package

Day 1: Arrive Nairobi

Arrival time at Jomo Kenyatta international Airport. You will be met and picked by African paradise safaris guide and you will be transferred to your city hotel to rest and leisure. Depending on arrival time have a city tour. Accommodation Ibis hotel BB.

Day 2: Full day exploration within Nairobi

Breakfast in the hotel at leisure, the driver will pick you and drive to Elephant orphanage, enjoy the baby elephant – take picture and have an opportunity to tourch them. Later you will head to giraffe park, here you will feed them, take photo with them and you even kiss them.  After giraffe park you will be transferred to a local restaurant for your lunch (on your own). After lunch have a city tour and head back to the hotel to relax and  have your dinner.

Day 3: Nairobi to maasai mara national reserve

After breakfast at the hotel, You will bw picked by the driver and head southwards to Maasai Mara National Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch, relax. Have an afternoon game drive in the reserve.
An exploratory drive around the 1,792 sq. km game park with its low hills and savannah type rolling grasslands, gallery forest on the Mara River and its tributaries. Get introduced to the herbivores; elephant, rhino, buffalo, and the variety of antelopes, the Masai giraffe and the Burchell zebra. The carnivores are the black mane lion, cheetah and leopard. Also to be seen are the largest bird, the Masai ostrich, the Secretary bird, the crested crane and saddle-bill stork. Crocodiles and hippos share the river. Return to your lodge by sunset Dinner and overnight at Miti mingi eco camp (full board).

Day 4: Maasai mara national reserve

Optional Early Morning balloon safari ride (US$450.00 per person ) across the Maasai Mara plain. Breakfast at the lodge then enjoy morning and afternoon game drives. Masai Mara is an extension of the Serengeti ecosystem to the south. Game abounds here; The Mara is noted for its abundance of lions – particularly the superb black maned males. See the great Migraton where over 1.5 million wildebeest and other antelopes crossing the mighty Mara River. Experience the battle between survival and hunger. You are also likely to see lots of elephants here often in large herds, as well as – if you're lucky leopard, cheetah and rhino. All of the Big Five are residents. You're sure to see the African buffalo. Get the cameras ready, stock up on film/tapes and enjoy yourselves! In the evening visit maasai village. Dinner and overnight at Miti mingi eco camp (full board).

Day 5: Maasai mara to Lake nakuru national park

Waken by marching elephant and sounds of birds. Have breakfast at your lodge. Check out and drive through the cool Rift Valley environment towards Nakuru. Drive through the park and arrive at your camp in time for lunch. Have an afternoon game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park.
L. Nakuru is a small park with over 50% of its area covered by the Lake. Located in the middle of the Rift valley, L. Nakuru has a wide variety of animals which includes the Rothschild Giraffe, Lions, White and Black rhinos as well as the Leopard. All these can be spotted depending on your luck. The park is also considered by birdwatchers as an ornithological paradise! A myriad of both Greater and lesser flamingoes has made this lake their home. Dinner and overnight at Citymax hotel (full board).

Day 6: Lake nakuru national park to lake naivasha- Hell’s gate national park

Enjoy your breakfast at the lodge, drive to Naivasha you will have a stopover at great rift valley view point, you will arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon have boat ride or horse ride (at an extra cost) Dinner will be served for you and overnight at Sawela lodge (full board).

Day 7: Lake nakuru national park to Amboseli National Park

Hot breakfast at the hotel. At 8.30am drive to Amboseli National Park where you will arrive in time for lunch. After lunch proceed for afternoon game drive, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. During your game drive you will be searching for the big herds of the African Elephants, the cheetahs, Lions, the gazelles and the Elusive Eland. Weather permitting you will be able to have a magnificent view of the Kilimanjaro. All meals and overnight at Kimana camp (meal plan. Full board).

Day 8: Full day Amboseli National Park

Full day exploration of the park. After breakfast depart to morning game drive. Transferred to your lodge for lunch at leisure. Embark to an afternoon game drive. Later you will return to the lodge for dinner. You will be able to see the peak of Mt Kilimanjaro, Big 5’s and more than 400 birds species.  All meals and overnight at Kimana Camp (meal plan. Full board).

Day 9: Amboseli – Nairobi

Enjoy your breakfast at leisure. Check out and drive to Nairobi. Where you will be transferred to the airport for your homw flight.
